Diesel telescopic platform
Operating power: This type of platform uses a diesel oil propulsion system.
Working height : The platforms reach from 16 m to 43 m in height.
Lateral outreach: The maximum lateral outreach is around 24 m.
Capacity of the work platform: The maximum weight that the machines can withstand with these characteristics is around 230 kg.
Applications: Clamping of steel frames, shipyards, department store, check and repair of bridges.
Advantages: They are less complex than articulated boom lifts as regards movements, tougher. The telescopic boom lift is as high as the articulated one but has more lateral outreach.
Disadvantages: They cannot avoid obstacles vertically when working; more free space is required when the platform is turned with regard to the chassis, due to the counterweight. They are more cumbersome to transport.
